When parents drag their kids along exhibitions and open days in order to give them an understanding of science and technology, enthusiasm vains quickly, leaving grumpy children behind. Now, there is a solution with maxi-postcards I have developed for the German Space Centre (Illustration Ulrike Jansen): Children can colour images of the environment and learn about their features and threats, while their parents discuss, how to save the climate. And finally, the postcards can be sent by ordinary land mail to let others know about how satellites help to tackle climate change.
