IMMERSIVE

Immersive cinema has enormous potential in delivering complex content to the masses. My first Fulldome film “Touching the Edge of the Universe” has been shown by planetariums world-wide, with 70 licenses sold in total.
The film is about how stars and planets form in the Universe, and how we investigate distant worlds like Mars with the help of robots. The stories are embedded into live action, shot with a giant fisheye lens inside ESA’s main control room. In 2009, this was all experimental, and the first immersive film shot on location in 360°.
You see here the original circular Fulldome film trailer, which covers the planetarium dome – a truly immersive experience.
